** IMMEDIATE START ** PERMANENT ROLE - GREAT WORK LIFE BALANCE!30 Hours Per Week any 5 out of 7 daysMy client based in Denstone is currently looking for Catering Assistants to join the friendly team to perform a mixture of roles assisting in the provision of a high standard of culinary produce within the catering department whilst maintaining a healthy andhygienic environment.Hours of work - must be flexible to work between 7am and 7.30pm and 1 day of the weekendOutline of duties: * Assist in maintaining the Catering Department, including the Dining Hall, at a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.* Ensuring the appropriate measures of cleaning products are used, as instructed in the Department COSHH training provided.* Follow all College policies, and in particular Safeguarding and Health and Safety.* Wash, clean and dry the equipment used for the preparation and service of the food and the crockery, cutlery and glassware provided for the consumption of food.* Assist in the preparation, transporting and serving of food, beverages, crockery, cutlery, glassware, catering equipment and barbecues which may be required in areas other than the Dining Hall.* Ensure food deliveries are handled and stored correctly* Assist in the preparation and service of all meals * Lay and clear tables, including the refilling sauce, condiments, pepper and salt containers as required.* Maintain the cleanliness of the changing room provided for the Catering staff.* Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the corridor and litter collection area below the kitchens and the lift used to convey stores between that corridor and the kitchens.* Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant Health & Safety procedures.Pay rate - £9.90ph (to increase to £10.90ph in January)Benefits include:* Free on-site parking* Gym * Swimming pool* Free lunch* No late nights/split shifts/full weekend work* Free enhanced DBS will be provided* Christmas offPlease apply using the link, attach your CV and if we feel your skills and experience are relevant to the role we will contact you.Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited group of companies includes Gi Recruitment Limited, Draefern Limited, Gi Group Recruitment Ltd, INTOO (UK) Limited, Marks Sattin (UK) Limited, TACK TMI UK Limited and Grafton Professional Staffing Limited.
