Job Description

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (PRINT / LABELS) Location: Newcastle-Under-Lyme , ST5 9QF Salary: to £25k basic plus commission / bonus (£30k OTE in year 1)This role is full time (35 hours) and the working week finishes at 1:30pm on a Friday.WHY CHOOSE VENTURE LABELSMy client, Venture Labels is a very successful, customer-focused sales organisation with over 30 years of experience in providing label and print solutions to all industrial sectors.   • You are already in a sales role, perhaps in a junior sales or telesales role, and looking for the next step on your sales career path.
  • You have gained experience in the print / labels sector.
  • You are experienced in liaising with both existing and potential customers via phone, face-to-face and via video conference. You can quickly establish rapport.
  • You have effective listening skills and can ask the right questions.
  • You are confident, driven, commercially orientated, resilient, and can demonstrate great interpersonal skills.
Any experience also gained in account management and / or sales administration would be a bonus.ABOUT THE JOBYou will be:
  • Responsible for identifying new business opportunities and generating new leads and prospects.
  • Allocated a small number of existing accounts to manage and grow. However, you will also build your own sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales.
  • Responsible for achieving your sales targets.
  • Undertaking some sales administration, following up on outbound marketing campaigns, creating and issuing invoices.
  • Preparing sales reports and forecasts - if this is something you have not done before then well show you.
WORK DAYS AND HOURS:
  • 35 hours / week: Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm. Friday: 8:30am - 1:30pm.
