OurSixth Form provision has a reputation for high academic achievement and excellence.This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and suitably qualified individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to take on this role within the Learning Resource Centre at each of our Newcastle and Stafford Collegesites.Reporting directly to the Group Learning Resources Co-ordinator you will be responsible for providing advice and assistance to enable users to gain maximum benefit from the Library, and the effective administration, control and development of the service.Duties are varied and include supporting student learning and assisting students and staff in the use of the appropriate learning materials.In addition to a good standard of general education, you should havea relevant Customer Service or Library qualification along with previous experience of working in a similar role. You will have a confident manner with the ability to communicate effectivelyat all levels, excellent MS Office Skills (Word, Excel). Hours of work are usually office hours Monday to Friday, but occasional attendance at open evenings will be required.Main Duties and Responsibilities:
