Job Description

Digital Correspondence ConsultantSalary up to £55,0003-4 days Remote working (Full Remote working can be negotiated for the right candidate) Who Are We -We specialise in Digital Transformation, with a team of vision-driven IT professionals offering end-to-end solutions that match our clients business objectives. As a result of our success, we are looking to grow our team.The Role -You will be responsible for the design and development of correspondence architecture, framework, and tools to meet customer and strategic needs. Ensuring designs and builds meet both stakeholder requirements and development best practices.The role provides the opportunity to grow and develop within a technical function that is responsible for multiple technologies, whilst also adding wider business value by continually looking to improve correspondence solutions. Demonstrate good self-motivationby maintaining a productive and efficient working attitude.As a Correspondence Engineer, you will be responsible for building quality solutions for clients as part of a variety of change programs. You will be producing high-quality and clean application code in PL-SQL and be an advocate for best practices. As partof the role, you will also be required to produce clear and concise documentation. You will proactively get involved in minimising risk and provide effective solutions to combat and mitigate risks.Key Responsibilities -

  • Take ownership of project work taking responsibility of deliverables and meet project timescales.
  • Impart knowledge of the correspondence architecture/framework to provide technical steer to relevant teams.
  • Ensure all design/development adheres to best practices and our strategic roadmap.
  • Develop Oracle Database Applications using PL-SQL.
  • Develop, define and support OpenText Products that include Live Editor, Exstream, Command Centre and Correspondence Studio.
  • Automate the Installation, Configuration and OpenText Products.
  • Actively get involved in the detailed design for changes to both code and data services.
  • Complete documentation for both design and testing as required.
  • Develop clean PL-SQL Code to the required standards.
  • You will be making sure all deliverables are developed to the agreed timeframes, budget, and quality.
  • Proactively communicating progress as well as any blockages/ issues.
  • You will be providing support on design work which will be reviewed and approved by the relevant bodies.
Skills and Experience needed for the role -
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proactive, tenacious and pragmatic problem solver.
  • Competent in the use of PL/SQL Language.

  • Exposure to OpenText Process Automation
  • Exposure to OpenText Command Centre
  • Exposure to Viper
  • Exposure to DCS
  • Exposure to Messagepoint
  • Competent in the use of PowerShell scripting.
  • Competent in use of Azure DevOps
  • Competent in using OpenText Exstream.
  • Competent in using OpenText Interactive.
