Job Description

Position - Business Development Manager - Asbestos/Water Hygiene SectorNegotiable basic Salary/package - Guide - £35000 - £45000, to include performance bonus, car or car allowance with a fuel card, 25 days holiday plus stats, 4% pension scheme(Negotiable), home office package.Location - StaffordMy Client is a major player within the Asbestos and Water Hygiene sector and as such require someone who has previous experience within these sectors, and who can demonstrate a successful track record. We are not looking for an Account Manager, we are looking for a tenacious Sales individual who has the will and ambition to succeed . This is a remote role, with UK travel, and commutable to the North East once a month.The primary role is to prospect for new clients on a UK-wide basis and convert them into retained customers that have lifetime value across the asbestos consultancy and water hygiene sectors.You will be expected to grow the sales figures by 250,000k year on year. It would be a bonus if you had strong experience within marketing both online and offline, however this is not essential.Responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Initiates and delivers direct contact with new business prospects
  • Understands the business challenges of key prospects
  • Creates opportunities to pitch new accounts and build a robust Sales Pipeline
  • Works to build prospects/contacts through existing clients and Regional Offices
  • Develop sales strategies and proposals for key prospects that speak to their needs and objectives
  • Organises, directs and makes physical arrangements for new prospect meetings
  • Presents a suitably professional personal image that mirrors My Clients positioning
  • Develops and maintains a prime prospect list which includes qualified prospects from key target sectors
  • Manages/keeps regular contact with companies on the prospect list and follows a structured nurture process
  • Develops responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) or quotations (RFQs)
  • Set or negotiate sale prices to new clients that meets My Clients objectives for day rate and margin
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion, using a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
