Electronic Engineering Technician Are you an established Electronic Engineering Technician who is looking for a new and exciting challenge If so then look no further! A great and exciting opportunity has just come available for an Electronic Engineering Technician located near to St Neots, Cambridgeshire providing technical support in all electronic design activities. You will be required to conduct verification testing of all engineering development programs.My client is well established within the manufacture and distribution of PCBs within the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in following detailed test plans and test reports, working closely with Senior Engineers in the team.·Salary - Up to £24,000.·Hours - 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday 0800 - 1700 Friday 0800 - 1300·Area - Located near to St Neots, Cambridgeshire.·This is a permanent full-time position. Responsibilities - Electronic Engineering Technician ·Testing electronic hardware·Root cause failure investigations and fault finding to component level·Obsolescence testing for replacement components·All type of verification testing. Functional testing, thermal testing, environmental testing, EMC Conducted and Radiated emission, Conducted and Radiated susceptibility, transient testing & ESD·Design verification reports derating, MTBF & FMCEA·BOM checks·Understand the different requirements electronic hardware is tested against. MIL-STD, DEF-STAN, D0160, CISPR 22, EN 55022, CE·Creating Design Verification reports. Analysing data against test requirements and identifying issues found·Creating block diagrams, test methods and logging equipment used·To support and promote good working relationships with other team members·To ensure a high level of housekeeping is maintained Skills required - Electronic Engineering Technician·Experience in testing electronic hardware using oscilloscope, DVM and other test equipment ·Excellent communication skills·Experienced in electronics, switch mode power supply technologies and related power electronics fields such as motors and inverters·Microcontroller programming·Ability to interpret complex technical drawings·Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment·Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines·Must be a commutable distance from St Neots, CambridgeshireBenefits - ·Competitive salary - Up to £10 per hour depending on experience·Health Care Cash Plan·Contributory Pension Scheme for eligible employees·Employee Assistance Programme·24 days holiday (in addition to UK bank and public holidays)·Life Assurance·Company Sick Pay Scheme·Free car parking·Early finish on Fridays (1.00pm)·Pension The position of Electronic Engineering Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that the daily operations of the company can continue to tight deadlines.
