Job Description

Design EngineerSt NeotsSalary up to £45kAre you a passionate Design Engineer looking for an exciting new roleCoulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Design Engineer to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based near St neots working as part of their Engineering team.Principle Responsibilities for the Design Engineer:-

  • To work within our design team on the comprehensive range of equipment
  • Using and exploiting the companys 3D CAD systems (Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD software) to their maximum capability.
  • Design for manufacture and assembly protocols.
  • Produce 3D part models and assemblies and detailed 2D component and assembly drawings to current standards.
Person specification:-
  • Must be experienced in the use of Autodesk Inventorand be proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
  • An engineering background.
  • Previous shop floor "hands on" experience; Machining, Welding Fabrication would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Experience of design work carried out on food machinery and systems.
  • A working knowledge of the following, both at user design and calculation levels:
