An ambitious regional charity that provides emotional and practical support, advice and guidance to carers of all ages and their families, as well as opportunities to take a break from their caring role.About the roleIt is an exciting time to consider being part of thisteam.As part of the people team, you will work across the organisation to coordinate and deliver a planned programme of training and support to all employees and volunteers and help deliver learning opportunities to unpaid carers. You will provide regular mandatory social care training to support the delivery of high quality carer services for unpaid carers, including regulated care breaks, as well as delivering supplementary learning and coaching across teams, and potentially to external organisations.The successful candidate will have a background in delivering training in a variety of formats to suit different audiences and will enjoy the challenge of a diverse workload.Key accountabilities of the role include:-Support the delivery of the organisation’s training strategy, with responsibility for the training coordination and delivery within it.Carry out training to maximise individual and team potential, including coaching, mandatory social care training, observations, workshops, virtual training, individual specialist support, assessing trainee learning.Be responsible for all matters relating to effective training delivery, including development, planning, booking, delivery and evaluation of effectiveness.Working with managers, lead on the induction of all paid and unpaid new starters.Be the training expert, providing updates on new regulations and day to day advice and support on specific practice queries, including visiting carer hubs and individual homes at times.Skills and abilitiesAbility to multi–task.Ability to work productively with a range of people.Strong written and verbal communicator.Driven to make the best use of technology.Driver and respond to training needs across our region.Excellent attention to detail.Demonstrates a constructive, solution focussed approach.Ability to manage own time to meet requirements to a high standard.Efficient, methodical and well organised
