They are looking for a Trainee Estimator to join their team.They manufacture a range of timber engineered products for the building industry including Roof Trusses, Fire Doors, Stairs, and Engineered Joist Systems.They are currently looking for a bright and enthusiastic candidate to fill the position of Trainee Truss Estimator within the companys Roof Truss Department.Whilst receiving comprehensive internal and external training you will be working with the cutting edge Mitek Pamir design software to create roof truss solutions that meet both client and architect requirements.Reporting to the estimating manager your main responsibility will be producing quotations on range of projects to help secure future business.Good communication skills will be required as the role entails contact with a wide customer base ranging from self-builders to national house builders, architects, and engineers.Whilst a keen eye for detail will help interpret requirements from architects drawings and turn them into working 3 dimensional models and prepare accurate quotation schedules.Responsibilities and Duties
