Senior Product Design Engineer, Mechanical, 3D CAD, Med-TechAre you a Senior Product Design Engineer searching for your next position Do you have a strong grasp of mechanical design principles related to product development GD&T and drawings Are you an expert user of 3D CAD, with experience designing for a high-volume manufacturing process If you answered yes, this just might be the position for you!An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Product Design Engineer within a thriving scientific R&D / Med-Tech organisation. The successful candidate will integrate themselves into an established Mechanical Engineering and Design team, contributing to the design and development process of both early and late-stage product development requirements.The CompanyThis is an exciting opportunity to join a company who are paving the way in medical diagnostics.     • What’s RequiredThe successful Senior Product Design Engineer will need a creative outlook and a pragmatic approach when it comes to creating innovative design and performing hands-on prototyping. They won’t be afraid to step out of their comfort zone and as well as this will have the following skills/experience:
  • A relevant degree in an applicable field such as Mechanical /Product Design Engineering or Product Design
  • Strong experience in the use of 3D CAD; specific experience using CREO or ProE is ideal
  • Previous experience designing for high-volume manufacturing processes and assembly as well as previous experience of Injection Moulding
  • Prior experience designing for Medical Device Development or within a regulated environment is highly desirable
