Job Description

Production Supervisor Meyer Scott Ref: VR/08464Salary: £28,000 -£32,000 per annumLocation: St Ives, CambridgeshireType: PermanentThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Production Supervisor with a leading based Cambridgeshire Contract Electronics Manufacturer with established customer partnerships across a range of industry sectors.Our client is accredited in Investors in People, ISO9001 and ISO140001.Reporting to the Head of Production, the role will provide effective supervision of the Assembly and Test areas to ensure customer and business requirements are consistently achieved.The successful applicant will have current and proven experience working within the electronics manufacturing industry.Responsibilities will include

  • Responsible for SMT, (Surface Mount Technology) PTH Assembly and Test production
  • Pick and Place
  • Overseeing AOI, (Automated Optical Inspection) Screen Printing and Reflow Systems.
Requirements
  • The applicant should have at least 3 years supervisory or management experience in a similar environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Must be Computer Literate. Good IT skills with knowledge of an ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated, and reliable candidates to join the team, you must be computer literate in all the basic packages with a desire to achieve continuous improvements and good attention to detail.
  • You must be able to work independently and as part of a small cohesive team.
  • It is not essential to be competent in all areas of the job description as training can be given, although there needs to be experience in some of the relevant skills.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08.00 - 16.45 and Friday 08.00 - 12.30.Benefits: Free car park, pension which we contribute 3% and profit related bonus.
