Job Description

We currently have vacancies for Production Operatives within our Finishing Departmentcareer progression available!This is a full time role of 40 hours over a 4 day week (MondayFriday)Full training is offered in all areas of the business.In exchange for your commitment with us you will receive:

Production Operative Responsibilities:
  • Assisting Machine Minder with the smooth running of the machine
  • Producing premium quality cartons whilst ensuring high standards are maintained
  • General housekeeping of the machine and production area to ensure a clean working space
  • Quality checking cartons during a variety of procedures
  • Completing paperwork
  • Interpreting facts and figures to optimise the efficiency of the department
  • Reporting figures and information to Minders
Production Operative Requirements:
  • Experience within the print industry or in production role is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Good problem solving skills;
  • The ability to work well with the operator and alone as required;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • An interest in new technologies;
  • Enthusiasm and determination;
  • A polite, friendly and positive manner;
  • Good initiative and adaptability in a dynamic department;
  • Sound judgment and decision-making ability;
  • A good eye for detail;
  • Willing to learn;
  • Basic computer skills;
  • Ability to communicate with management;
  • Genuine desire to progress and start a career within the print industry.
