Job Description

We are a family run business with 50+ years’ experience in the packaging market. We produce premium cartons for established businesses in the fine fragrance, cosmetics and premium spirit drinks markets, for example, products such as Boots, Elemis and Macallanwhisky.Are you looking for a career in the print industryWe currently have vacancies for Print Assistants – career progression availableIn exchange for your commitment with us you will receive:

Print Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the machine operator in preparing the jobs
  • Feeding the machine during the run to ensure optimum output
  • Assisting as required with cleaning and maintenance of the machine
  • General housekeeping of the machine and surrounding area
  • Checking quality of the jobs going through the machines
  • Control check paperwork
Print Assistant Requirements:
  • Ability to select the correct materials and correct quantities
  • Able to keep up with the machine to ensure good speeds are met on the runs
  • A genuine desire to progress in the print industry
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • An interest in the printing and packaging industry
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in new technologies
  • A polite, friendly and positive manner
  • Sound judgment and decision-making ability
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but full training is offered
  • An interest in progressing in the Company
  • Basic computer skills
