Job Description

We are a family run business with 50+ years experience in the packaging market. We produce premium cartons for established businesses in the fine fragrance, cosmetics and premium spirit drinks markets, for example, products such as Boots, Elemis and Macallanwhisky.We currently have a vacancy for a Plate MakerIn exchange for your commitment with us you will receive:

Plate Maker Responsibilities:
  • Produce printing plates on our CTP line.
  • Ensuring the production of printing plates meet the production schedule
  • Required quality control checks followed
  • Building artwork files, ready for platemaking
Print Assistant Requirements:
  • Mac experience
  • Knowledge of ArtPro Plus, Photoshop and Illustrator advantageous
  • Able to keep up with the machine to ensure good speeds are met on the runs
  • An interest in the printing and packaging industry
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in new technologies
  • A polite, friendly and positive manner
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but full training is offered
  • An interest in progressing in the Company
  • Good computer skills
Working hours 40 per week, double day shift hours, Monday - Friday
