Job Description

Are you Passionate about HorsesDo you have experience of working or studying in the equine worldThis may be the ideal role for you.Join our growing business and team as a Customer Service Advisor working in the Equine Insurance market. Providing excellent customer service, youll help our customers with their horse/ equine needs, throughout 2022 and beyond. If you havent workedin insurance before but have an interest in horses and the equine world, dont worry - we train all our staff so they have the confidence to handle any call.Salary: £18,000- £22,000 depending on experience + monthly performance-based bonusesLocation: St Ives, Cambridgeshire. Training will be full-time in the office and then move to a hybrid model of working from home and in the office after training is complete.Hours - youll work on a shift pattern. Heres an example of your rota:

  • Week one:Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Week two: Monday and Friday 10am-6pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:30pm-6pm Saturday: 8:30am-1pm
Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound / make outbound telephone calls from / to our existing clients and insurers
  • Provide high levels of customer service to our existing client base, helping with their policies
  • Processing customer service admin such as issuing client documents
  • Process renewal invites sent to all existing clients to help us retain the clients business for the next 12 months
  • Liaising with insurers (suppliers) via email and telephone to ensure client requests / queries are handled satisfactorily and in a timely fashion.
  • Assist with the placement of new business policies and renewals via insurers (suppliers) websites ensuring all client policies are placed with the insurers correctly and on time
  • Help the customer service team to manage our customer service calendar of call backs to ensure all client requests / queries are dealt with in a timely fashion and clear notes are added to each clients file to reflect discussions / actions taken.
  • Assist CS team to meet service level achievement (SLA) targets each month. If you help us meet these targets and your quality score is high enough, youll receive a discretionary bonus for that month.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Equine background / knowledge preferred but not essential as full training provided
  • Insurance background preferred but not essential as full training provided
Requirements and Skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Good computer literacy skills (typing, word, excel, etc.)
  • Good Numeracy skills to GCSE standard
  • Good communication skills
