Job Description

Are you a current Paraplanner looking to join a people-based business that works at a fast pace Also, this is ideal if you are seeking progression from Paraplanner to become a Financial Advisor, as they would support your development!In your role as a Paraplanner, you will be directly supporting one of their Financial Advisors and freeing up their time to service more clients and develop new business.You will also be supported with progression to become a Financial Advisor, if desired.Your Paraplanner duties will include:

  • Working closely with the Financial Advisor and his clients and liaising with the admin team
  • Use cash flow forecasting and investment analysis software
  • Taking meeting notes from the Financial Advisor and agreeing the follow up actions
  • Undertaking research on both products and investments
  • Gathering hard fact information from clients and product providers
  • Assisting in preparing for reviews
  • Preparing suitability reports and "action" letters such as withdrawal advice letters or ISA top ups
  • Preparing illustrations for New Business etc
  • Communicating with clients on behalf of the Financial Advisor
Chartered qualificationsAs a business, they would support you financially towards achieving your industry qualifications, including Chartered and have a study support group you can be part of!Paraplanner Requirements
  • You must be an experienced Paraplanner and hold full Level 4 Diploma (DipFA or DipPFS)
  • Experience of cash flow forecasting and investment analysis software would be beneficial

  • Salary of circa £35,000 depending on experience (negotiable)
  • Plus company benefits include: company pension, discretionary Christmas bonus, 23 days holiday + BHs and financial support towards advanced qualifications
  • Working hours of 9am - 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 9am - 4pm, Friday
