Job Description

Working on behalf of our manufacturing client based in St Ives we are seeking a Machine Minder on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a manual role and will require you to be of fit heath and it will be working the day shift.Start: ASAPLocation: St Ives, Cambridgeshire Hours: Mon to Thurs 8.00am to 4.00pm and Fri 06.00am to 1.00pm, 40 hour work weekHourly Rate: £8.72 per hour+ holiday pay Duration: Temporary - PermanentDuties will include:

  • Feeding bathes of raw materials into machinery
  • Operating production line equipment including conveyor lines
  • Loading goods onto pallets ready to distribute to the warehouse
  • Reporting of faults to line managers
  • Checking quality of products after process has been completed
  • Packing of goods for the warehouse
  • Keeping the factory production area clean and tidy whilst working
  • Working in small team of people, will be trained on a variety of machines over a period of time.
    • Key skills and attributes required:
  • Previous manufacturing / factory experience
  • Ability to work flexible shift patterns
  • Of fit health for loading materials
  • Strong work ethic and desire to progress
  • Ability to follow instructions
