Job Description

We currently have the following vacancy for Machine Operators in our Gluing/Finishing Department where we use the latest Bobst and Baumer HHS equipment to achieve the high quality finish our customers expect.In exchange for your commitment with us you will receive:

  • Salary £30 000 - £37 000 based on skill level and experience
  • 4 day working week (40 hours per week on double rotation)

Gluing Operator requirements:
  • Experience of the packaging sector is essential, and knowledge of Bobst gluers is desirable.
  • Previous experience in similar role with the ability to make ready all styles including straight-line, crash lock and integral fitments
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve, trouble shoot and innovate
  • Capable of working to strict deadlines in a fast paced and adaptable environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Work with high quality materials, cartons and finishes
  • Ensuring the companies quality standards are maintained
  • Leading a small team, reporting to Gluing Manager
  • Enthusiasm and determination to excel
