Job Description

Firmware Engineer required. Our client is a well-established and growing instrumentation manufacturer based in the St. Ives, Cambridgeshire area. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer to join the team and take responsibilityfor the design and development of circuit boards and coding PICs using C language.Firmware Engineer Position Overview

  • Embedded C programming for microcontrollers
  • Microchip PIC programming
  • Electronics design with the use of Altium
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding at board level
  • Working in accordance with ISO9001 quality standards
Firmware Engineer Position Requirements
  • Previous experience within a Firmware Engineering role
  • Ability to write embedded C programmes for microcontrollers
  • Based in a commutable distance of St Ives
  • Experience with an electronic design software such as Altium.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Electronics qualifications are desirable
  • High attention to detail
Firmware Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary £30,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience
  • 37.5 hour working week, agile working hours
  • Company bonus scheme
  • Pension
