Linx Printing Technologies have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join their team based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.Job Title: Credit ControllerLocation: St. Ives, CambridgeshireSalary: Competitive + BenefitsCredit Controller - The Role:This is a multifaceted and exciting role which will require the credit Controller to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise duties. The main responsibilities are listed below but the role requires a tenacious individual with good communication skills. The role is full time over 37.5 hours per week but may require extra hours at month end and during busy periods.Credit Controller - Key Responsibilities:- Daily chasing of overdue debts to ensure timely collection to agreed terms- Generating weekly reminder letters and statements- Reviewing late payments and raising late payment fees- Management of credit accounts e.g. query resolution, credit requests, changing account terms, compliance with terms and taking legal action- Account creation for new customers including checking their risk profile, agreeing credit limits and payment terms- Posting of daily cash receipts; electronic, cheque and credit card- Posting of invoice batches prepared by sales order admin and the service department- Monthly reconciliation of AR sub ledger to the General ledger- Setting of monthly cash collection targets- Produce management information; overdue reports, stop lists, visual management statistics- Develop relationship with sales team and order admin associates- Cover and assist with AP & Bank and other ad-hoc finance dutiesCredit Controller - Skills & Experience Required:- Experience in a previous role for minimum of two years- Good working knowledge of Excel including pivot tables- Knowledge of Sage 1000 would be desirable- Knowledge and experience of Oracle would be desirable- Be able to work as part of a teamCredit Controller - About Linx:Linx is renowned globally for Coding and Marking solutions.
