Quantity Surveyor ST Helens Salary competitive (DOE) Join an award-winning Property services companyMy client is an award-winning property services company that are in the market for a Quantity to join their commercial team. As a business they deliver planned and reactive maintenance to social housing as well as act as main building contractor. This award-winning property services company have a secured pipeline of £120million of works across the north west region. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be tasked to plan, control, manage and ensure effective administration of the commercial and financial aspects of all contracts while ensuring complete compliance with the contract outlines. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be commercially astute and be involved in pricing works on selected projects. You will be given ownership and accountability for delivering sub contact packages to projects. Ensuring the best possible value and profit ismaintained during and closing of project delivery. You will have worked on social housing projects, such as voids, re-roofing and general refurbishment upgrades. Dealing with Housing associations within the region. Key Responsibilities:• Maintain and develop commercial processes and procedures and maximize returns in terms of profit.• Manage and reduce unnecessary costs and inefficient activities.• Maximize cash flow through valuations, submission of invoices and receipt of payment.• Final Accounts management including variations, claims and disputes.• Financial forecasting for use in setting targets and managing the business.• Monitoring resources and costs to ensure that the projects meet agreed targets.Experience and Qualifications:• You will have experience of working within the social housing sector, ideally working on planned & reactive maintenance contracts. • You will be degree qualified or equivalent.To apply for the position please email your CV to or contact me on .
