Project Coordinator - Community Renewal FundJob Type: 6 month Fixed Term ContractLocation: St Helens, MerserysideSalary: CompetitiveAn exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a dynamic individual to support the delivery of UK Community Renewal Fund (CRF) projects in St Helens.The CRF is a UK Government programme for 2021/22. This aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK to pilot programmes and new approaches to prepare for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It invests in skills, community and place, localbusiness, and supporting people into employment.Our client has been awarded funds on behalf of the Liverpool City Region, focused on discovering how best to upskill the current workforce to ensure the local economy has the skills needed to create clean and green growth in the area, further strengtheningtheir advanced manufacturing sectors and inspire future generations to see how they can gain careers in these growing sectors.The RoleThe role of the Project Coordinator will act as a key operational contact and liaison between the multiple stakeholders, as well as the numerous cross-sectoral external partners that will be engaged throughout the projects. The project will deliver a rangeof outcomes for local businesses and individuals in St Helens to achieve new and improved skills.The successful applicant will need to hit the ground running to provide proactive and efficient project support and coordination to all members of the Community Renewal Fund project team. They must be able to engage, communicate effectively and build rapportwith a wide range of groups and possess the ability to work autonomously at pace to support the Project Manager delivering project outcomes by June 2022.Please note, the role is a temporary 6 month fixed-term opportunity, with time limited funding until 30thJune 2022.
