Job Description

Vital People are looking for a Production Operative to join our client’s warehouse in Haydock. You will be working for a large manufacturer, who offer permanent roles for the right people.Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm / 10pm - 6am / 2pm - 10pm rotating.Role :

  • Sets up and operates machines according to work order specifications, using clamps, bolts, and handtools
  • Sets machine controls, according to knowledge of products and procedures
  • Removes finished product, using hand tools
  • Trims excess material
    • Essential Skills:
  • Previous experience working on a fast-paced production line is essential
  • Confident to work in a very labour-intensive role - must be physically fit, as this work includes heavy lifting
  • Team worker - able to work to deadlines and fixed schedules
