With recently increased pay rates and immediate starts available, Acorn is looking for Production Operatives for their brand-leading food and drink manufacturing client based in Haydock.Candidates will support the overall operation of our clients production facility. They will be required to carry out general factory duties including manual handling and working on high-speed production lines.The successful candidate would ideally have experience of working within an industrial environment.Main responsibilities:* Machine operating including setting up and clean-downs* Packing* Keeping work area clean and tidy* Completing or verifying quality checks* Meet and exceed production targets* Any other duties as deemed appropriate by your SupervisorPrincipal accountabilities:* Health and safety* Customer focused* Team work* Positive can - do attitude* Maintaining a "clean as you go" policyWe are currently recruiting for the following shift pattern on the site:* Monday - Friday - 39 hours per week* Rotating: 6-2, 2-10, occasional requirement to work nightsAll breaks are paid.Rates of pay:* £10.81 per hour including shift allowance* Overtime is available at enhanced ratesPlease note the company operate a no smoking policy on site and there is no smoking allowed even on breaksBenefits:* Full training will be given* Excellent working conditions* Weekly pay* Holiday pay* Pension contributions* Free hot and cold drinks* Free parking and other excellent staff benefits!There is an immediate start for the successful candidates.Acorn Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
