Job Description

We are looking for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical background, where you will join this small busy team providing routine and planned maintenance, breakdown and support engineering to customer owned equipment on site.Main Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, planned maintenance on all customer equipment
  • Pro-actively work with the team, supervisor and manager to report known issues / faults and to ensure they are effectively dealt with and closed out
  • Perform breakdown repairs on customer machines
  • Order spare parts and ensure stock locations are maintained and kept in order
  • Assist with the training and development of others within the team
  • Work with the customer to prioritise workloads in order to maximise production
    • Experience required
  • Strong commercial electrical knowledge and understanding
  • Mechanical background (electrical bias)
  • Able to maintain a high-volume production line to ensure productivity is maximised
  • Electrical testing and logical fault-finding processes
  • Laundry expereionce would be desirable
  • Able to work in a high pressure environment
    • Whats in it for youThe starting salary for this position is £32,000 per annum plus overtime with 6 and 12 month salary review. The company offer 33 days holiday (including bank holidays,) pension, healthcare, sick pay, childcare vouchers, long service awards and more.Hours:
  • 40 per week, 2-week shift rotation, 06:00-14:30 + 14:30-23:00
  • Hours worked in excess of the rotad hours in each Monday to Saturday period are paid at a rate of 1.5x your hourly rate
  • Sundays are paid at 2x your hourly rate
