Job Description

History Teacher St HelensApril 2024 start date - Full-time positionAre you a passionate and creative History Teacher seeking a new opportunity for the summer termAcademics are recruiting for a qualified History Teacher for a full-time position starting in April initially until July 2024 but this is likely to be extended into the next academic year.Our client secondary school in St Helens require a full-time History Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4. This popular secondary schools have a great local reputation and youll be a part of a supportive and nurturing environment where teachers are freeto thrive within their environment.You will expected to take on full teaching responsibilities of a History Teacher including planning and marking whilst becoming completely immersed into the school community.The successful History Teacher will need to have:

  • QTS or QTLS
  • Must have recent experience of teaching History to GCSE
  • Have a proactive and can do attitude with a flexible approach to work
  • Hold an enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or be willing to get one (cost applied)
