Job Description

  1. Develop, implement, and oversee health and safety policies and procedures to reduce risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  3. Investigate accidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and recommending preventive measures.
  4. Coordinate and lead safety training sessions for all employees.
  5. Maintain records of incidents and produce regular reports on safety metrics.
  6. Collaborate with department heads and managers to champion safety initiatives and improvements.
  7. Stay updated with the latest best practices, equipment, and legislation relating to health and safety.
Profile
  • Experience in health and safety roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate potential safety issues.
