Creative Support is a national, fast growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are currently looking for a Support Worker to join our teams at our respite service in the St Helens, Clockface area.We are looking for warm, caring and proactive individuals to provide person centred care and support at our respite services in the St Helens area for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex health needs. You will be responsible for providing respectful personal care, practical and emotional support, whilst helping to ensure service users are able to enjoy valued fulfilling lifestyles. No two days will be the same at this service as we support our service users to follow their passions and engage in a range of activities including: walking, accessing the local disco, visiting the local park and many more!Support Worker Duties:• A commitment to making a positive difference in individuals’ lives• Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users• Carry out general administrative duties and housing management tasks• Provide support to individuals with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, housework and other personal care• Part time hours, to be worked flexibly according to the needs of the service which may include daytimes, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep’insWe are looking for candidates from all walks of life. No previous care experience is needed, just a passion for providing person-centred care and support and working in a bright, friendly environment! Full training is provided by our Creative Support Training Academy, as is the opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.There is parking on site for staff and there are several bus routes that pass nearby from the local area.
