Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Technician to join our growing team.Job Title: Civil TechnicianLocation: Merseyside WA10 3TPSalary: £30,000 to £40,000 per year (commensurate with experience) + benefits (please see below)About us:We are an established civil and structural engineering consultancy based in St Helens. The business has grown steadily over the last 10 years and developed a reputation for reliability, quality, and professionalism. To support our continued growth, we arenow looking for an experienced structural technician to the team.The role:

  • Supporting the Design Team Lead Engineer
  • Learning and following team guidelines on standard processes
  • Supporting teammates for projects in a collaborative fast-paced environment
  • Using effective verbal and written communication to update team with project status
  • The ability to liaise directly with other consultants and site operatives via verbal and/or written communication.
The ideal candidate:
  • Will have experience in civil engineering
  • Will have experience in modelling drainage networks to adoptable standards including SUDS systems
  • Will have experience of civils 3d (essential)
  • Will be experienced with AutoCAD (essential)
  • Will possess ability to re ad and understand basic construction and architecture drawings
  • Will be able to demonstrate ability to learn various software and tools
  • Will be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
