100% account management, calling our circa 1000 customers across the UK to discuss their consumable needs. All business to business, all existing customers (manufacturers), all warm calls, fact finding, selling and replenishment. NO COLD CALLING - hurrah!BASIC SALARY: £25,000 - £30,000BENEFITS:· Commission structure (uncapped)· 25 days holidayLOCATION: St Albans - Porters Wood to be preciseAn office based role with our current team commuting from St Albans, Hatfield, Harpenden, Hemel Hempstead and Welwyn Garden CityJOB DESCRIPTION: Internal Account ManagerA brand new role in the business, working with you to make it your own. We are looking to engage with our customers on a regular basis to increase the partnership (and of course the sale of consumables).The none fluffy version . . . we are great at what we do, our products are considered the best in the market (we appreciate everyone says that), but until now we havent had an Internal Account Manager able to have those day to day conversations. We would like to change that! This role is ultimately speaking to customers who already own one of our products, know us and in the main love us, however, they just dont necessarily know that we can provide all of the consumables (blades, routers, conveyor belts etc) required to keep their machines running at an optimum level. That is where you come in....You will be key to driving that contact and developing the relationship further.· Contacting c1000 customers (manufacturers from a range of sectors) throughout the UK (we use Salesforce as a CRM).· Identifying and understand other key decision makers (Engineers, Technical, Operations) in the customer (typically the users are different to the buyers).· Raise awareness of products and consumables available, give advice on best practice to enable the greatness efficiency of the products.· Make appointments and visit clients sites when appropriate.· Develop bespoke package deals to tie in customersPERSON SPECIFICATION: Internal Account ManagerMaking outbound calls is easy - we all do it every day, calling your mum / dad, brother / sister most regularly your friends. That said, making calls to B2B customers in a confident, engaging and professional manner, is an art!This role will be driven by you, your input into and involvement with the strategy hopefully it is an insight to how we value this role.We would like someone with experience of telephone based B2B account management, making 30/40 calls a day can be tedious, being constantly fobbed off is annoying even when we are calling customers!Any industrial experience, engineering/technical knowledge is desirable, however, we can teach you all about our products. What we can’t teach is enthusiasm, commerciality and the bloody mindedness to keep going.THE COMPANY:A small but friendly team, we are a business with locations around the world. We manufacture and distribute large capital equipment used in a wide variety of industries - automotive, textiles and aerospace to name a few. One of our machines is typically sold for £150,000.
