Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller within the head office of leading UK childrens toy company, established over 30 years, based near St Albans/Dunstable. Your role will be reporting directly to the Finance Director and willrequire you to use your initiative on a daily basis while working in a pressurised environment. Reporting to the Financial Director, you will be responsible for overseeing two highly experienced team members within the finance team, and all aspects of thefinance function. This role is newly formed due to the business expansion and would suit someone who enjoys variety and using their initiative on a daily basis.Financial Controller Responsibilities:

  • Designing and preparation of Monthly Management Accounts/MI and KPIs
  • Compiling annual Budgeting and monthly variance reporting
  • Maintaining Financial Forecasting model
  • Treasury Management and Cash Flow reporting
  • Maintaining Sales and Stock Flow Forecasting models
  • Overseeing Year End Audit Process and Liaising with external auditors
  • Overseeing and controlling the year end stock take
  • Monthly Analysis and Reporting
  • Weekly sales reporting
  • Statutory reporting
Financial Controller Key Requirements:
  • Previous Financial Controller or similar experience
  • Advanced excel skills including Pivot Tables
  • Strong communication skills
  • Qualified Accountant
