Job Description

We have been providing more homes for people unable to rent or buy privately since March 2002 and we aim to build a home a day - 365 new homes per year.Weare looking for a Contractor Liaison Coordinator to undertake effective coordination of repairs and maintenance works, administrative duties and financial and statistical functions in support of all repairs and maintenance contractors providing excellent plannedmaintenance, responsive repairs, empty homes, compliance and grounds services to all of our customers.There couldnt be a more exciting time to join CHP as we are currently experiencing three times the growth of the industry average. We are a voluntary living wage employer and accredited as a Disability Confident Employer.Requirements Liaise with approved contractorsto co-ordinate resources to ensure that the right number of people with the right skills are in place to achieve business objectives. Effectively support the scheduling of works, projects and inspections, logistics, equipment and waste clearance to maximisethe efficient use of resources, improve productivity and provide an excellent service to customers. Assist Planners and Supervisors in co-ordinating and monitoring the responsive repairs services delivered by contractors, effectively responding to queries.Co-ordinate with all teams to ensure there is enough contractor resource to manage the work demands. Liaise with Contracts Manager (Responsive Repairs Contractors), Operational Supervisors, contractors, Planners, CRC and customers to provide information andsupport to them as required. Provide regular progress reports to the Planner Supervisor, Contracts Manager (Responsive Repairs Contractors) and the Operations management team in relation to service delivery. Process recharges for repairs works and liaise withother teams on the administration of these. Raise orders for works as requested by the Planner Supervisor or Contracts Manager (Responsive Repairs Contractors) and apply all job costing information accurately and in a timely manner to works in progress orcompleted jobs, forwarding to the appropriate person or team. Identify and input relevant maintenance information into the Asset Management database. In conjunction with the Planner Supervisor and Contracts Manager (Responsive Repairs Contractors), analyseand report on operational progress and performance to support achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs), identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and drive for value for money (VfM). Liaise with Operations teams, Contracts Manager(Responsive Repairs Contractors), Supervisors and Supply Chain colleagues to ensure repairs are completed right first-time and within the agreed priorities, reducing follow on works and improving the customer experience. Liaise with and advise Customer Serviceteams to resolve queries at the first point of contact, acting as subject matter expert on a rotational basis as directed. You may be required to work flexibly between the hours of 8am to 6pm, on a rota basis. Undertake any other responsibilities relevantto this post, as directed by your line manager.PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential Qualifications Evidence of attainment of good literacy and numeracy, eg, through GCSEs or equivalent) or equivalent demonstrable prior learning. Experience, knowledge and skills Experience of office systems and procedures, ideallyin a repairs reporting, maintenance or scheduling role. High level of computer literacy including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and Outlook). Ability to analyse numerical data and create reports to meet business requirements.Previous use of housing management systems.Previous use of contractor works management systems.Experience of invoice processing.Experience of working in a customer focused environment.Able to prioritise work and manage conflicting deadlines.Confident organiser.Self-motivationwith the ability to use own initiative.Methodical and accurate approach to work.Understanding of compliance, asbestos, gas safety, electrical safety, fire, water management, CDM 2015.
