Job Description

We are looking for a candidate to join our busy Finance Team on a 6 month temporary contract. This role is based at our Support Centre in Liverpool.As an Accounts Assistant you will responsible for supporting the Finance Team and will play a vital role in supporting the accounts department. This role has emphasis on processing high volume of invoices in an accurate and timely manner, from input to paymentstatus.The key accountabilities in this role are:

  • Able to work at pace with accuracy Invoice coding
  • Send to relevant department for approval
  • Once approved process for weekly cheque run
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Checking statements
The skills required to be successful are:
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Able to work at pace with accuracy
  • Great attention to detail and accurate inputting
  • Good communication skills - both written and verbal when dealing with supplier queries
  • Time management is necessary in order to meet tight deadlines
