Job Description

Warehouse ManagerSpalding£40,000 - £50,000 + BenefitsCast have partnered with market leading Logistics business based in Spalding, who are looking to strengthen its senior management team with the recruitment of an experienced Warehouse Manager. As a Warehouse Manager with responsibility for the Site infrastructure; first and foremost, you will ensure that the safety of our people and our colleagues is fiercely protected, and that safety is everyones first priority.Job Role:You will be a key member of the site senior leadership team reporting to the General Manager, deputising where appropriate in their absence and overseeing all aspects of the site, its people and its performance. You will be responsible for a team of SiteOperations Managers working collectively to deliver our customers expectations and our business objectives.Required skills:

  • Experience of working within a Warehouse/ Distribution environment
  • Ensuring all requirements relating Safety, Environment and Quality are fully implemented
  • Knowledge of Multi Temperature Chambers
  • Working in a high pressure enviroment
  • Proven experience of supervising / managing a team
  • Experience of disciplinary / grievance procedures.
  • A good communicator both verbal and written
  • Excellent PC skills
  • A flexible team-based approach
  • Strong awareness of health and safety
