Recruitment | Training | Business Advice & ConsultancyVacancy profileJob Title: Supply Chain Manager Location: Spalding, LincolnshireSalary: £35,000 - £40,000Type: Full-time, permanentThe Role Our client is based within the FMCG sector and are looking for a highly motivated candidate to fill a new role managing stocks and supply chain to ensure suitable stockholding to maximise efficiencies for the factory.This role would suit someone who has Supply Chain or Planning experience and as a result is both data focused but works well within a team and has the potential to grow and develop within the role.Key Duties of the Role:

  • Daily Stock Planning, update orders and maintain reported stocks
  • Daily input of forecasts to ensure accurate planning of factory resources
  • Review of load planning & management of discrepancies
  • Forward review and planning of future stocks to ensure availability for production plans
  • Be the point of contact for our farming teams to plan inbound product. This includes chairing weekly availability meetings and be a focus point for technical, commercial and production aspects to be voiced.
  • Managing a small transport team day-to-day and manage Inbound Haulage Control
  • Build daily transport plan and communicate to stakeholders
  • Work with the transport manager to maintain a high standard of health and safety, monitoring processes and following the Safe Systems of Work
  • To ensure all compliance is met
  • Budgeting and analysis of management accounts
  • Provide commercial support when required for internal costs/external claim data
  • Update customers supply chain systems (for required order amendments)
  • Support with completion of customer insight analysis
  • Manage monthly data pack for internal and external distribution including sales
    • The Candidate
  • Stock Control, Planning or previous Supply Chain experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to build relationships with different stakeholders
  • Demonstrable Data Focused or Analytical Approach
  • Competent in use of MS systems - particularly MS Excel
  • Independent and resilient approach to day-to-day tasks
  • Valid Driving License
  • Flexibility on working hours
