Job Description

Payroll OfficerLocation: Spalding, Horncastle, BostonSalary: £21,896 - £23,857Public Sector Partnership Services are a high performing Local Authority Trading Company (LatCo), owned by East Lindsey District Council, South Holland District Council and Boston Borough Council, with ambitions to grow and provide high quality servicesto other Councils.The RoleWe are looking for our next team member to join our friendly payroll team to help us process our monthly payrolls (circa 1300 employees) using our HR & Payroll system.We are a small and supportive Payrollteam forming part of the widerHR Service who really welcome and support new employees to our team. You join us at an exciting time as we continue onour journey to deliver high quality professional services to PSPSand our Clients.Typical duties:

  • Be the first point of contact for payroll queries from PSPS employees and Client Councils.
  • Processing expenses and payroll for PSPS and our Client Councils through CIPHR (First4HR) system
  • Calculate and process all statutory payments such as sick pay, maternity pay etc
What we need from you:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Up-to-date payroll and technical knowledge
  • Ability to network and build relations with multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of using an electronic HR/Payroll system to manage Payroll in an organisation
