The Executive Network Groups Logistics & Transport division has a fantastic opportunity to join our client, who are a leading 3PL FMCG Provider on a full-time permanent basis in as a Finance Business Partner to sit within their team of around 30, reportinginto the Finance Reporting ManagerFinance Business Partner Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Dependent on experience as all levels considered with exposure to the sector Location: Spalding Shift: Monday to Friday Holiday: 25 + 8 bank hols Pension: 4% Matched Purpose of the roleTo provide analytical support and business partnering to the Operational sites to help plan, understand and improve the financial performance. To assist the Finance Reporting Manager in identifying areas of improvement, from both a revenue and efficiency viewpoint.Producing the management accounts and commentary for key areas of the business. Owning allocated balance sheet reconciliations.A little bit about youPlanning Support and deliver the three-year Plan and annual budgeting /forecasting cycle Maintain the rolling forecast to support profit and loss, balance sheet & cash flow analysisInsight, analysis, and reporting Advise stakeholders on KPIs and performance to enable delivery of plan and to review and challenge efficiency & drive margin improvement Owning the accounting for designated cost centres, nominal codes or balance sheet codes Provide commercial analysis and insight to operational management. Development and ownership of forecasting models Assisting and supplying information to auditors for annual auditBusiness Partnering Provide business partnering support to the Operational Management Team Support the development of a management financial capability across the operation Establish a working relationship with all key internal senior management teams as a basis for influencing change. Prepare budgets and forecasts for relevant business units Assist the Finance Reporting Manager in delivery of wider team objectivesQualifications Required:Ideally the right candidate will have at least one part qualification but we would look at candidates that are QBE as long as they would look to potentially study. (study support can be offered by the client) Part or Fully Qualified Accountant Full Driving LicenseExperience Required:Essential Relevant experience working in a commercial or finance function in an operational industry Experience in analysing / trending data to make recommendations for change / challenge the business Strong knowledge of accounting regulations, procedures and current legislation Experienced in using Excel with the ability to create and develop spreadsheets using functions (pivot tables, lookups etc.) or macros to automate and improve reporting Experience of presenting and interpreting key information Previous business partnering experienceDesirable Experience within FMCG environment (distribution or manufacturing) Experience of transport and warehouse processes and systems Project management experience
