Job Description

Electrician – Domestic and Commercial Location: Lincolnshire and CambridgeshireSalary: £36,000-£42,000 per annum plus overtimeFull time electrician required for a growing Solar PV Installation company based in Spalding, covering Lincolnshire & Cambridgeshire.Knowledge of Solar PV would be an advantage, but not essential as full training can be given.The Role

  • Must be able to carry out electrical installations in both domestic and commercial environments
  • Must be able to carry out inspection and testing of work
  • Installation of Solar PV equipment and battery storage systems
  • Occasional roof work will be required on larger projects to help out the installation team
  • Needs to be confident in talking and dealing with customers
  • Must be able to travel to jobs every weekday plus the occasional weekend work when needed
  • Be able to work as part of a team but also happy to work by themselves on site when needed
  • Be comfortable working at height and in sometimes enclosed spaces
Skills and Experience Essential:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualified electrician
  • out of time experience 2 years
  • 18th edition qualified testing 2391 inspection & testing
  • Experience in both domestic & commercial environments
  • Full UK driving licence
Desirable but not essential
  • Experience & qualified in Solar PV installations
  • IPAF
  • PASMA
