Established in 1996, these rapidly growing, family owned and run businesses are searching for a Design & Marketing Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of marketing anddesign.Their two companies design, manufacture and distribute electronic reading aids and software that enable visually impaired, blind and dyslexic people to read. Their products are life changing and help to restore independence, enable employment and education.This role will suit an enthusiastic person with great interpersonal skills who has a passion for design in both print and digital marketing. The successful candidate will be required to have previous experience of developing and managing marketing campaignsas well as excellent organisational, communication and writing skills.The role directly reports to the Managing Director whilst working closely with the Sales and Marketing team.Responsibilities:- Create dynamic written and design content for leaflets and flyers etc.- Create and implement new marketing strategies- Manage marketing campaigns and the marketing calendar- Create Mailchimp mailshots- Optimise and manage website content- Track, analyse and report on performance- Design and write adverts for multiple channels using InDesign- Create and update product catalogues using InDesign- Edit, resize and reformat images with Photoshop- Write effective creative copy that reflects brand values- CRM Management (SAP)- Arrange national and international exhibitions (including stand design and layout)- Occasional travel to see clients both nationally and internationally- Maintain Amazon storefront and adsSkills and Experience:Essential:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Work well independently, as part of the team and with external services and customers- Attention to detail- Minimum of 2 years marketing experience; designing, creating and managing e-mail campaigns on Mailchimp and postal marketing campaigns- Computer literate with Adobe Creative SuiteDesirable:- Experience using Google Analytics- Experience of video production, scripting and editing- Previous experience of best practices for accessibilityQualifications:- Bachelors degree or equivalent marketing/design experience- Full UK Driving LicenceBenefits:- Casual dress- On-site parking- Hybrid working- Salary: Salary £23,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience- 32 days leave incl. bank holidaysApplication deadline: 27/05/2022Employment Type:Full-time (40 hours), flexible, remote working possible, part-time / job share consideredPlease send your CV and a covering letter.
