At Gibbs & Dandy we pride ourselves on our ability to provide a great welcome to our customers, being proactive when helping them, being trusted, and recognised for our customer first approach.The Customer Service Supervisor role is working in our Gibbs & Dandy branch in Spalding.This branch is a well-established and busy branch with a friendly team of 3 who work hard to offer a great service and excellent product knowledge. The branch has a sales office, warehouse, shop & counter and manages two customer delivery vehicles.Working for Gibbs & Dandy will mean you have no two days the same. You will have the opportunity to support and advise customers on our extensive products and service range - no matter how big or small their project is! But we couldnt give our customers a service they can trust without our people, and this is where you step in.What will I be doing in this roleAs a Customer Service Supervisor, youll be the face of the business, meeting and serving the customers that come into the branch throughout the day, as well as those that call in. Youll be a key to the experience each customer has when they deal with the business, so the service you provide is key. This means putting the customer first when handling requests, answering questions, discussing and comparing products, providing quotes and converting these quotes and queries into sales.So, what are we looking for

  • Experience of working in a customer-focused sales role
  • Motivation to secure and increase sales orders
  • A genuine enthusiasm for dealing with customers, and a customer 1st attitude
  • The ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Ensure sales orders and delivery schedules are processed accurately and promptly
  • A customer-focused approach and the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage customer needs whilst maximising profit
  • A positive attitude and the desire to want to continually improve our service
