Job Description

The One Group are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a business based in Spalding who continues to thrive in a sector where they have a large market share.This opportunity will see you working for the business on a full time, permanent basis, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. You will be working alongside the wider finance team whilst also liaising with intercompany sites and departments.Duties will include:

  • Raise sales invoices on a daily basis - matching proof of delivery and adjusting quantities
  • Post and allocate all sales ledger payments, ensuring that payments are received within credit terms
  • Chasing all overdue debt
  • Obtain authorisation of agreed debit notes
  • Monitoring claims received via email or remittance
  • Issue debt report on a weekly basis including overdue amounts and status of chasing
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, have the ability to work to tight deadlines and have attention to detail with the ability to resolve issues on your own initiative. In return for the above responsibilities and traits you will receive:
  • £23,000-£24,000 per annum, depending on experience
