Job Description

Commercial Accountant (CIMA / ACCA studier) | Spalding Region (Remote working only 2 - 4 days per month in the office) | £35,000 + full suite of benefits (25 days holiday + stats, bonus, healthcare, pension, study package)The OpportunityAre you an ambitious finance professional looking to qualify CIMA / ACCA Do you see your career heading away from the grind of month end and in a more commercial / business partnering direction

  • Your role isnt going to be bog standard month end reporting - no VAT returns or balance sheet recs. The focus is supporting commercial decision making, new bids and tenders, evaluations of promotional activities. Its massive exposure to the front end.What drives sales, margin and profit!

  • A relevant degree (accounting and finance / similar) or AAT plus an appetite to become fully qualified in CIMA or equivalent.
  • A strong baseline of core month end accounting / management accounting experience (you are likely assistant management accountant level currently).
  • Excellent data analysis & Excel skills - ability to drill into numbers and pull out key trends / highlights / summaries etc.
  • Great communication skills and confidence when working with others.
