Assistant Finance Business Partner Spalding Salary based on experience Henderson Brown is actively seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our client as an Assistant Finance Business Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the success of an established farming and produce business supplying into retailand food services. As an integral part of our clients finance team, you will play a key role in supporting business partners, providing crucial financial insights across multiple units to drive major projects.Key Responsibilities but not limited to * Act as the finance liaison across four individual business units, fostering strong relationships and providing crucial financial guidance to Finance Business Partners.* Own labour, haulage, and packaging analysis and reporting for all business units, identifying cost-out opportunities, driving alignment of processes, and providing insights to aid decision-making.* Work with ledger teams to own and review customer and supplier credits and claims and lead the review process.* Take full ownership of a multi-million-pound overhead cost centre, maintaining precise tracking, reporting, and control.* Identify cost-saving opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to optimise expenditure.* Own and deliver actual reporting, forecasting, and budgeting cycles for overheads.* Provide cover for weekly reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial information for informed decision-making.* Support senior finance leadership on various ad hoc projects, leveraging financial expertise to drive project success.* Prepare and present regular financial reports, variance analysis, and performance metrics to business unit stakeholders.* Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, offering insights for continuous improvement.Qualifications and Skills:* Studier towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) - Study support package available.* Proven experience in finance, demonstrating a solid understanding of operational finance.* Excellent communication skills to foster relationships and convey financial information effectively.* Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.* Advanced Excel knowledge.Please apply now for more information and a copy of the full renumeration
