The Job Role:Deliver/collect material and components to and from customers/suppliers using the company van.To make good all machined parts with appropriate tools.ie deburr all sharp edges and holes.To use the correct tools to clean holes and threaded holes prior to inspection.To inspect (limited) any components before leaving the machine shop, ready for dispatch.You maybe required to work outside normal working hours, including weekends sometimes at short notice. Be flexible and adaptable to support the nature of work, Including shift work when required. Willing to cover shift patterns in the event of holidays and sickness.Experience Needed:Ideally, you would have worked in a Production Engineering environment previously.Any experience of deburring or quality inspection will be useful.PersonalAttributes: Desire to learn new skills.Willing to listen and act on clear instructions.Good communication skills.Good teamwork.To be always punctual.Forklift operator (desirable)Associated Benefits:20 days + bank holidays/year on all positions.Company pension on all positions.SSP on all positions.Working Hours:£9.50/hr. 40 hrs. /week 8am - 4.30pm
