Due to customer demand, we are looking for a Production Operative in the metalfinishing department.The role will involve processing Aerospace Turbine Airfoil components using sand blasters, various deburring and polishing hand tools and measurement equipment. The role would really suit someone with good practical skills, basic engineering or graduates invehicle mechanics NVQ level 2 and 2 background. Other backgrounds will be considered as full training provided.The role includes:* A very competitive hourly rate, plus shift allowance.* Working Monday to Friday on a 2 week or 3 week shift pattern. One week 6am - 2pm and the next 2pm - 10pm and potentially 10pm - 6am.* Ongoing role * Overtime available once trained at £14.98 per hour Monday to Saturday and £20.54 on Sunday.* Annual 5% Performance Related Pay Bonus scheme* On-site canteen.* Free parking.Candidate requirements:* Previous experience of using hand tools/machine operating.* Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.* Great attention to detail and quality standards* Good level of English (Writing, Reading and verbal).* Flexible.* Team player.* Awareness of Health & Safety.Opportunity for progression to permanent role with increased rates of pay and further enhanced benefits package.Immediate starts available Apply today!
