About The RoleAre you looking to work in a mental health settingAre you looking for your next step in Nursing where you can help patients in an Urgent Care Clinical Hub If so, then we have the role for you.As a Mental Health Nurse Advisor you will be responsible for giving advice and support to Health and Clinical Advisors working in the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) and manage calls from the clinical queue providing mental healthadvice to patients as and when it is required.You will need to use your clinical judgement and critical thinking skills to identify calls that may require further nurse assessment or referral to a GP, other primary care service or into secondary MH services at all times, and ensure that this is managedefficiently.You will be working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team in the CAS which consists of GPs/ANPs, Registered Nurses, UCPs, Mental Health and Dental Nurses and Prescribing Pharmacists and Pharmacy Advisors.This is a Permanent., Part time position and looking for someone to work ideally 3 days a week (22.5 hours).About The CandidateWho Were Looking ForYou will be required to hold an RMN qualification and registration with the NMC and show evidence of previous experience of working with patients and understanding the needs of patients with mental health difficulties.You will ideally be able to prioritise your work load and be able to deliver to agreed time scales and standards at all times.The Mental Health advice service will be provided between the following hours:Monday to Friday - 14:30 to 22:30Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays10:30 to 23:30As such, you will be expected to be available to work during periods of peak demandAbout The CompanyPractice Plus Group is passionate about great healthcare.
