Design EngineerNorthampton£30k - £40kThe CompanyA world leading manufacturer of performance fluid transfer systems, operating in the OEM, automotive, motorcycle, defence and specialist industrial sectors. Supplying customer around the world, they have a turnover in excess of £50 million and employ more than420 peopleWhat will be the responsibilities of the Design Engineer* Design of new and existing products, producing 2D drawings and 3D models for parts and assemblies* Working with customer engineering teams to design and develop fluid transfer systems* Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure products and processes are designed for manufactureWhat skills and experience will the Design Engineer have* Educated to HND or above in Engineering discipline* Fully trained in Solidworks* Working knowledge of CATIA* Ideally a minimum of 5 years experience in a design role within an automotive component manufacturing company* Knowledge of Fluid Transfer Systems would be advantageous* OEM automotive experience advantageous* JIG/Fixture and SPM Design knowledge* Working knowledge of IATF16949What will the Design Engineer get in return* Competitive salary* Career development* Pension* Christmas shut down* Early finish Friday
