About The RoleAre you an experienced clinician keen to further their career in an exciting new leadership role We are looking for someone to be a clinical role model, passionate about patient care and able to innovate, motivate, inspire and develop an urgent care workforce.If you would like to help shape of future Integrated Urgent Care this may be the opportunity for you!This is a permanentposition working part time of 22.5 hours per week.This is an exciting opportunity for you as a visionary ACP or ANP to develop your leadership skills within the IUC setting. This leadership role will encompass motivating and inspiring a team of Advanced Care Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Urgent CarePractitioners and Allied Health Professionals at the Decon Out Of Hours (OOH) and Clinical Assessment Services (CAS). You will also play an integral role within the senior leadership team comprised of the Service Manager and Medical Lead.As a practicing Senior Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Clinical Practitioner you will be a role model and provide clinical support, mentorship and supervision to the team. In addition to the Lead Practitioner role, you will be expected to do a numberof clinical hours within the service that can be negotiated.In addition to being the Safeguarding and Infection Prevention and Control Lead, you will establish inter-agency working to ensure good communication enhances the quality of care for patients.The Devon OOH service provides advice, information, assessment and treatment for NHS patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period when their own GP surgery is closed. The CAS is a 24/7 Multi professional, virtual and telephone based Clinical AssessmentService.How We Will Support YouAs well as support from the wider team, we hold regular clinical supervision and education events, including the opportunity to have a weekly case discussion with the Medical Lead. Keen to develop and grow our staff we hold bimonthly evening meals/clinicalupdates for the team with motivational external speakers and networking opportunities across The Practice Plus portfolio of services. We have a bespoke Learning Management System to with numerous courses to address your learning needs including a bespoke leadershipand coaching course and Regional and National career development opportunities.About The CandidateYou will be an autonomous Clinical Practitioner with at least 3 years experience within a Primary/Urgent Care environment and have completed a Masters with experience and qualifications in Advanced Clinical Practice and hold an independent prescribing qualification.You will be registered with either the HCPC or NMC or RPharm and be confident seeing, treating and discharging patients of all ages with unscheduled presentations.Ideally you will be able to show evidence of inspiring a team and working in a management or lead role, but support will be given to develop leadership skills further.About The CompanyPractice Plus Group is passionate about great healthcare.
