Job Description

  • You will be focussed on maximising business opportunities and promoting the range of services offered by the company. Working within a busy and successful branch you will be involved in generating new business and developing existing business through telephone and face to face sales activities and ensuring profitability through sales, marketing, recruitment and administration. The successful candidate will have the ability to combine professionalism and friendliness to meet the needs of clients and workers and deliver a quality service to both, whilst consistently meeting targets.You will provide support in the sourcing and selecting candidates for the business, promoting our referral schemes and ensuring that our candidate pool is growing and improving. Any experience in a fast paced environment will be hugely beneficial, as will excellent communication skills.You will also work closely with our recruitment and compliance teams to ensure that all of our candidates are made compliant for work as soon as possible and remain compliant. The successful candidate will ensure that they understand the needs of the clients and match appropriate candidates with vacancies to provide a quality tailored recruitment service whilst working towards targets set by the company.Your PathwayYou should enjoy working in a fast paced environment and possess excellent organisational and communication skills and be highly motivated to maximise speed and efficiency. If you enjoy driving business through social media - this could be the role for you!You will be trained in all aspects of recruitment - sales & business development, staff recruitment & resourcing, service & planning, to help you maximise business opportunities and promote the range of services offered by the company.Once you have completed your probation, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake CertRP level - which is the Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s highly acclaimed qualification that provides you with the foundations you need in recruitment. You will have an uncapped, simple, monthly commission scheme and the opportunity to participate in one-off sales competitions across all our branches.Our Recruitment Consultant role will enable you to develop the knowledge and skills to build your own customer base - you will learn all aspects of the recruitment life cycle and follow the well-trodden path that took our CEO from recruitment resourcer to Chief Executive.TrainingAs well as CertRP, many of our staff continue to focus on continuous professional development, with staff regularly completing Level 3 and (more occasionally) Level 5 diplomas. Most recently a number have completed the ILM Level 3 in Leadership and Management.General SkillsYour skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels both in person and over the telephone;
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, workers and colleagues;
  • A positive outlook and the ability to think "out of the box" to maximise opportunities;
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload;
  • Good level of general education; and
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Desirable skills
    1. Proven ability to generate revenue and develop profitable business;
    2. Demonstrable understanding and appreciation of compliance and legislative requirements in nursing and healthcare recruitment.
    3. Strong understanding of the recruitment life cycle and best practice recruitment processes involved in supplying temporary staff.
