Treasury Specialist

Job Description

I am exclusively working with a large International business recruiting for a Treasury Specialist in the Yorkshire region.You will be joining a team of 3 but working closely with The Group Treasury function overseas and working closely with the other functions around the world. There are a high number of entities, and this is a large complex structure, where you will be challengedand can develop quickly.The business is thriving and this may be an opportunity to not only grow your treasury knowledge, but potentially develop into people management and progression into the wider business.Duties include:

• Working with the business to ensure that all foreign currency exposures are fully hedged and documented
• Responsible for controls and risk assessments within the treasury team
• Support team ensuring achievement of strategic objectives, both local and globally
• Overall responsibility for ensuring all Group Treasury policies are adhered to in respect of Cash Management, Foreign Exchange deals, Interest and Loan Management
• Ensure the correct financial reports are reported on-time and to a high standard to the business and the Group
• Provide a focus for treasury activities within the Corporate Accounting team
• Maintain integrity of treasury reporting to Group
• Complete legal reporting requirements
• Management day to day activities within Treasury area
• Responsible for sign off of all Treasury tasks and procedures, ensuring all deadlines are met, no payments / deliverables are missed and that work is carried out to the highest standard
• Long term cash flow forecasts ensuring cashflow is managed effectively for the companies benefit
• Loan position review
• Work with the tax department to provide a treasury perspective to tax projects and ensure any treasury tasks are carried out correctly and to the relevant time frames
• Identify and implement efficiencies in all processes
• Management of all guarantees and facilities working with the business
• Maintaining relationships with all relevant banks ensuring the best service is utilised
• Responsible for upkeep and relevance of all bank mandates
• Accenture treasury relationship management, ensuring deadlines are met and issues resolved expediently
• Attend treasury planning meetings
• Manage the key relationships within Group Treasury
• Champion all coaching and mentoring initiatives within the team
• Ensure there is a continual monitoring and improvements in the controls environment

Ideal Candidate

• The ideal candidate will be comfortable with change management, be a confident communicator and must be able to influence key stakeholders on critical decisions.
• Knowledge of SAP would be handy but not essential, although you would need to have been involved with process improvements previously, to help evolve and develop the function.
• Ideally you will be CIMA, ACA, ACCA or ACT Qual (Part Qual) - Although I will consider candidates with strong treasury experience by trade.
• The role will be in the office 2 days a week - and they are flexible on start/finish times and you must be able to travel to South Yorkshire, or will not be considered for the role unfortunately
